Are 2025 coins worth keeping? Are they going to be low mintage? So far I've only come across 1 2025 penny and zero nickels or dimes. I held on to the penny. Are these things worth keeping if you come across any? I guess the same could be said for 2024.
I think the mint is still producing hundreds of millions, if not billions of them. I’m only keeping what I need to fill the holes in my folders and albums.
Are they worth keeping? For collector sake yes, but in terms of making money on the run, no. The mint produces so many (and folks squirrel away so many in the form of rolls and mint and proof sets) they'll never be worth more than face value in our lifetime.
At the time the "STOP MAKING CENTS" decree went out, mintages of 2025 cents were 82,400,000 for Denver and 160,000,000 for Philadelphia. Man, I thought freight trains took a long time to stop...
I don't think I've seen any 2025 coins yet. It makes me suspect everyone is keeping every denomination, because they "heard" that we're going to stop making coins. You know, people are saying.
If you listen to 'Coast to coast radio' most of the coins have been sucked up by alien sources.......
I’m getting rolls of 2025 P nickels, dimes, quarters & lately some cents. I feel like a beggar getting rolls from the bank but that’s where the money is
