Just heard back from Mr. Wexler, that I got a new listing WDDR-001 for a 2008 D Dime. He also said he will feature it in Coin World. Also had a new Stage for a ATB Quarter. I have processed the coins that you submitted for attribution... The 2008-D dime is 2008-D 10¢ WDDR-001 which is a new listing for my files. The 2013-P NV quarter is 2013-P 25¢ NV WDDR-002A which is a new stage listing for my files... Congratulations on the new listing. It will appear on the appropriate page of my website the next time that I update the site. I also plan to use it in the March 20, 2017 installment of my Varieties Notebook column in Coin World. Good luck with all of your collecting efforts. Sincerely, John A. Wexler Here are a couple picture of the DD.
Mr. Wexler is certainly getting lots of dime submissions once the 2016 P dime WDDR-001 was submitted/confirmed and listed. Gave us all something to look out for in the same "area". Discoveries, new listings are always nice.
Hey dchjr, How are you doing with that dime? But the better question is,... how did you avoid the wrath of Chris telling the forum or thread that no one will care in six months.
The dime is at ANACS now. They should designate it as a "Discovery Coin", as I have had a couple others also done that way. So far, it's the only 2008 D DDR designation that I know of. JW hasn't updated his website since he attributed it, but I would assume that once it's listed that others will use it to compare their coins with. It's not a major DD, but still relevant, so even after 6 months it would be something that others may care about.
Has anyone heard about John's recovery. The last time I heard from John was the first week in November. The last time I checked my coins that I Sent him in November. Are still at his PO Box waiting to be picked up since November 18, 2016..USMC60
Hi,this is Friday night I posted about the two dimei have can anyone tell me what is going on the 1968 and1966 the year.
You should start a new thread and post pictures head on for each full coin. It's hard to tell anything from what you have. We will be happy to help.
