Yup yup big Ooops.. This new one just might be "Natural" toning..... Nah... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Last warning.... don't think that was bad enough for a warning...?? try these (more where those came from.. hit the pic limit hehe)
Every chemical used on each of those coins consisted solely of atoms found in nature. What could be more "natural" than that?
A terrible thing to do to a pasture-raised, free-range, 100% organic... coin. (I'm only teasing at this point, and I guess I should stop.)
@jeffb A college buddy had it on his dorm room door, as pithy druggie humor. That’s why I remembered it.
The first one, the 1897 doesn't look that unnatural. I can't figure what's with the backlighting through the coin flip though? ????
Google is my memory. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Better_Living_Through_Chemistry It's actually an adaptation of their original slogan. That and the Monsanto one were so easy for the druggie culture to run with, it seems that their marketing departments must have been clueless.
I remember about 50 years ago when I was a teen going to a Monsanto exhibit that I believe was in Orlando's Epcot Center. It was a round domed room with a 360 degree projection screen. The film clip started and showed panaramic views of mountain climbing, aircraft views from the sky, ships on rough seas. It is a good thing they had rails to hang on because it was instant vertigo while watching.
