Can anyone help me with any information on the attached Alexander coin. I can't seem to match it to anything I have found; due to the lack of a case for the bow.
    Thanks,
    Ken

I won't outright condemn the coin just from your image, but the looks are way off. Out of curiosity, what is the weight and size?

I will send you what was on the cardboard sleeve. Ignore the price on the coin. That was either from the late 70's or 1988 when I got it from my friend who was a collector. 20250621_185112.jpg

Typically the reverse motif was one on Alexander's bronze coins; I am not aware of any silver coins like this. I agree with @Bing that the style seems off; the closest coin I could find on Wildwinds is a fake:

I'm not aware of any 1/6 staters of Alexander, but this is not my collecting area. You may want to check the diameter and weight with those on Wildwinds or better yet, ACSearch. That should give you an indication of what your coin is closest to. All of the drachms and tetradrachms I am aware of have Zeus seated left on the reverse.

Fakes have been around for millennia, so just because it was from the late '70s or '80s doesn't automatically make it genuine. Tourist fakes have been floating around for decades.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

The strike of the obverse on the OPs coin is the first sign of the fake.... I've literally never seen one with such a wide planchet that the outer beads show. Plus the upturned rim... and the whole strike just feels off.
