"Summer Peach" ? That sounds like the name of a woman's makeup. Does The Blind VAMmer have a feminine side?
The appearance of the reverse, unfortunately, leads me to think there may be two stages of toning on the coin, before and after the dip. The pattern is quite believable in the unique case of 1921's since the Mint used quite a different planchet prep for them compared to the previous Morgans, but I'm having a hard time rationalizing small spots of late-stage color.
This slab has been wearing on me, It is an 1/8" smaller in width and height, anyone have a good ref. for ANACS slabs?
I think they used the original ANA-size holder for the first couple years of the "ANACS" label and then switched to a larger one of similar appearance. What are the dimensions? I've an original ANA holder to compare it to.
