Petro89, please forgive me for piggy-backing your esteemed thread. I always hesitate to post a new (common) acquisition next to some of the very special high end coins and grades featured on your thread.
I get a charge out of finding new but inexpensive coins that may not be high grade but have a nice look. Many collectors who purchase (mostly) in the F to VF or XF range (like myself) may feel uncomfortable adulterating top pops posts with more ordinary coins, hence this thread. Having said that, I know you welcome all new coin acquisitions.

I spent the day lately searching and traveling and for about $60 added these three large silver examples to my collection. I'm not saying that if I have the chance to upgrade at a decent price, I won't, but for now...

I found a 2002 50 centavos from Cuba on the floor of a Cracker Barrel in Port Charlotte, FL last Sunday. Boy, they sure didn't waste any time coming through the "trade doors" did they?:):)

Those coins are certainly welcome on the "esteemed" thread. It's not about high end acquisitions, it's about any acquisition of new additions to world coin collecting.

    Laurentyvan,
All 3 of those are quite nice. I would say that you scored very well for $60.

That last one looks like an 8 reales pillar dollar. I didn't know they used the pillars on coins as late as 1898!
