sooo back in febuary i subscribe to pcgs coin report mag.. and its been 4 months and haven't receive anything and pcgs is not responding to my emails and calls...did they discontinue the magazine???
I just bought a PCGS membership and my welcome package included a magazine, I believe from June. I'll look at it when I get home, but I think it was this magazine.
finally got through to pcgs after waiting some time the lady called me back,., I explained everything they issued me a a credit and they sending me a new subscription
Rare Coin Market Report has been discontinued. In its place is PCGS Insider. Issue #1 is the May/June issue. The main difference is there is very little coverage of the coin market. Instead, there are well written articles on various coins, coin series, coin designers, collectors, rarity, etc. I like it because I have little use for coin price guides (I value based on recent auction prices) and have only a slight interest in market trends. I did the same in trying to obtain a GREYSHEET comp., with similar results, but I've had my fill of unsuccessfully calling internet sales sites. I'll wait a little longer, and then post my internet experiences with multiple prominent firms. as a warning article! Warning!! Several of these firms, once they obtain your financial info, will send junk, and start charging outrageous late payment fees, compounding same, selling the charges to another firm, who has a very busy call harassment team. Government agencies are impotent in trying to stop the efforts, as lack of interstate commerce laws limits their capabilities.
I try to avoid paying for magazine subscriptions with a credit card but use a check instead. This is always possible for paper subscriptions and often possible for digital subscriptions. Even if you choose to not autorenew with a credit card, it often happens anyway. If the magazine doesn't have your credit card info, no way they can autorenew. And if subscribing for the first time, do the minimum subscription. For out of country magazines, credit card is really the only choice though. Cal
If you are thinking of credit cards that don’t renew, you’re correct. However, I’ve had merchants discover the new expiration date on my credit cards that auto-renew. I don’t know where they get the info … bank, guessing, past renewal cycle period, other merchants or ? … but they do get it and not from me. Cal
