Here's a little gold bullion coin. I like the reverse scene with the elephants.

I have a bunch of Thai commemoratives but they're all common. Some cool designs though.

Here's an interesting commemorative token/medal - actually struck from the copper hull sheathing of Nelson's flagship Foudroyant:

    Lord Nelson medal Foudroyant.jpg
GREAT BRITAIN, time of Queen Victoria (1837-1901)
Admiral Horatio Nelson and HMS Foudroyant Commemorative Copper Medal (38.07mm, 28.56g, 12h)
Struck upon the breaking up of Nelson's flagship Foudroyant, circa 1897
Obverse: ⁛ HORATIO, VISCOUNT NELSON ⁛, bust facing three-quarters to left, in Naval uniform; BORN, 29th SEPTEMBER, 1758., DIED, 21st OCTOBER, 1805. in two lines below, REGD. NO. 311490 in small lettering along rim
Reverse: "FOUDROYANT", LORD NELSON'S FLAGSHIP., view of HMS Foudroyant at anchor from port quarter; COMMENCED BUILDING, 1789, LAUNCHED AT PLYMOUTH, APRIL, 1798, WRECKED AT BLACKPOOL JUNE 16th, 1897 in four lines below; MEDAL STRUCK FROM COPPER OF VESSEL AFTER BREAKING UP in small lettering along rim
    References: BHM 3613; Eimer 1813
An interesting historical medal with faint woodgrain toning.

Gosh I have so many. Let me see if I have some I haven't shared here. Actually, probably all of these y'all have seen. I chose ones with true views because I can fit more in one post! Eventually, I'll get my NGC ones together. My favorite area of collecting is German States minor denominations!

    Rostock, 1848 BS, Pfennig, MS64BN
    256276443.jpg

    Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schllingfürst, 1768 SNR, Kreuzer, MS62
    262814066.jpg

Bamberg, 1690++, 3 Heller, AU58. The toning on this coin is beautiful. I also love the use of the old German symbol for Heller.
    282652388.jpg

Hohnstein, 1621, 12 Kreuzers, MS62. The true view does a little too much on this coin, but still a lovely and scarce coin in this condition.

    Burgundy, Flanders. (1467-1474), 2 Stuivers, XF45.
    220285110.jpg

Barby, 1617, 1/24 thaler, MS62. This coin is STUNNING in hand!
    278556406.jpg

    Baden-Durlach, 1768 W, 2 1/2 Kreuzer, MS65. The mirrors on this coin are DEEP!

Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp, 1600, 1/16 thaler, AU55. This is an unlisted year for the type!
    273874896.jpg

    Saxony, 1790 IC, 1/12 thaler, MS62
    227616872.jpg

Friedberg, 1686, Kreuzer, MS64. Another coin with fantastic mirrored fields!

Extremely rare, as are all German Zeppelin medals from the First World War. Finest of two graded at PCGS. The later medals from 1928-1930 are many thousands of times more common, though they too have very cool designs.

I've been listening to the Great Courses lecture series on the History of the British Empire - excellent BTW, one of my favorite subjects and a great lecturer. One of the last ones was about South Africa and the Boer Wars.
