    That's interesting. Where was this Hurricane Helene salvaged ASE recovered from? Some coin shop in Clearwater Florida? I wonder how many got damaged and graded to get a volume discount plus a label? :eek:

    I suppose a shop in North Carolina could have the same flooding issues. That was one nasty @*#@. :mad:

    The Helene coin was salvaged from Buncombe County, NC, and sold to me by an Asheville dealer friend of mine.

    There is a writeup here. It was part of a monster box washed downstream in the WNC flooding and recovered by rescue workers.
