I'm always on the look out for any Bishopric coinage. My great grandmother was from Bavaria so I had to get this commemorative 1/4 Thaler.
I have picked up a couple of GB Threepences today. The 1729 is not scarce but an upgrade for me. The 1839 is much scarcer as in that year (and several others in the early 19th century) they were issued for Colonial use only.
China, Zhejiang (Chekiang) Province, 10 cash, no date (1903-1906). I really like the Chinese Imperial dragon on the reverse:
Struggling to get any GB coins I need at prices I can afford, so I stepped into the dark side and picked up these two non-British Crowns over the weekend. Germany - Anhalt 3 Mark 1914 and Greece 5 Drachma 1876.
Sure it doesn't come near as close to most of the stuff in this thread, but bought this nice Y2K commemorative toonie from a friend.
i used to own a silver gilded version of this. Canada produces some really nice coins, especially bullion pieces.
