1943/2 Nickel? Maybe,could be?

No, not even close. Notice the bottom left of on the 3. See the hook going up towards the center of the 3. That's the tell tale sign and you don't have it.

 

no, I have cherried several of them, that is not it.

The line from the tip of hte three inward should extend all the way to the other side.
