Hello everyone, Yesterday I did a 5-hour Metal Detecting hunt at Brooklyn's Prospect Park. It was hot and muggy, so I drank plenty of fluids! These were my finds.. 1937 Winged Liberty Head Dime 1886 Indian Head Cent 7 Wheat Cents Hem Weight size #4 Sterling Silver Pendant 1970 - 1980 NYC MTA Transit Token Everything Miscellaneous Pictures There was also a silver earring - 3 Silver items
Another great hunt and it was hot and muggy enough for me to wonder if you would get out to detect. Today will be worse so if you be careful and take plenty of water. Great finds!
The pendant is pretty cool. I would probably give that one a quick dip, no rubbing. It's rare for me to say that.
Nice Haul for such a miserable weather day. This little piggy stayed home with COPD. Too humid for me. I can only do 1-2 hour hunts now. Seems like you have that machine dialed in nicely also!
Yes. NOKTA makes a few affordable and great machines. The Score, Double Score and Triple Score. Here's information on The Score https://detectorwarehouse.com/produ...cWwRxNCDjQwsTuDqqxJFHlsJ7B9Ec-yBoC4q0QAvD_BwE I use the NOKTA Legend. A bit more advanced than the Score series and more expensive. But they are all good detectors!
