1835 Capped Bust small dime

    Purchased this 7Jun25. Obvious hard life but still substantial detail.

    For unknown reasons I had to shim the right side to get it to be in focus full image, and same for reverse but the coin is flat and not bent or curved in any way. Strange.

    Like my other most recent acquisitions, this is my first CB dime. I am on the lookout (locally) for any coin that fits this pattern of being a first for me. I am enjoying finding and researching new coins and new territory and I hope you all enjoy them as well.

    I believe your dime is the JR-7 die marriage, a R-4 coin.
