It's worth what it is worth to you. Check around to see if you can find the same type error for less, but ultimately only you can answer whether it is worth it.
No, find a good one. I don't know if it's on the holder or the bill, but pen marks around both the "5" and "five". Doesn't look right. Is it a scarce serial number?
Well worth it if real in my opinion. I own that is $1 note that wouldn't consider less than $75. So, $150 is too bad. Then again, I rarely pay full price. One more thing, what year is this in order to look up values.
Personally I would keep it if I found it in circulation. To each their own but I would never pay a high premium for something that is a mistake.
I think it’s on the high side. I’ve paid less for the same type of error and the notes I bought were in better condition. Most of the ones I have are more pronounced than this one.
Mine, my father got from the bank. It's a 1977A. Is that strange that a lot of errors come from that period?
