When it comes to grading, not all are equal. By far the best are CNG group. Their coins graded EF-Supberb are mintstate/better most other auction sites. I have seen their Ch-EF slabbed later as MS-65/66! Here are my top ten....for most conservative grades CNG Kunker Boule MDC/Monaco Solidus i-Numis Rauch Baldwins St. James Spink John
Yeah! The "slabbers" always ended up Heritage Auctions. Heritage seems to slab everything. What gets me going is that how can a Ch-EF (CNG) be reincarnated to a MS-65.....Kunker once sold a hammered coin that was MS-64(Goldbergs) as a Sehr Schone=VF in their catalogue.
According my opinion at the top three should be also Morton and Eden and dix Newman web. Ngc is trying to grade ancient coins with Sheldon grade which is made for United States coins then used for worldcoins and a few years now expands to ancient. For me it is fail.
I agree DNW and Morton & Eden are definately great. Also Pannonia Numizmatika(Hungary) and Cayon(Spain) have high grading standards. Macho & Chlapovic(Slovakia) Antykwariat Michal Niemczyk(Poland) also excellent.
You will find them all on sixbid/ scroll past auctions to see all on site. One not on sixbid is also very good Elsen Auctions/Belgium
You meant noble investments in London? If yes ,Dimitri Loulakakis unfortunately passed away and Ian placed the company inside Baldwins and then sold Baldwins too at Stanley Gibons groop. The guys with the stamps.
