Rick...you are doing great already. If you can get on with your first few posts and educate us all on what an RPMP is I think you'll go far. Sorry to say I can't help with your 83-D Cent, though it looks like PMD of some kind to me. I also don't see much in your 65 Quarter, but I can say that your photos are good enough to work with, so you're on the right track...Ray
Yeah I'm hooked. It didn't take much. I asked for a few 50c pieces at bank for nieces piggy bank and they gave me a couple S mint so I grabbed a few rolls because they looked so clean. I bet I got 120 Kennedy halves all untouched from 72-2005. They are beautiful coins and 2 66 and 67s. I know the reverse of 67 has to be doubled. Lol. Me and my doubles don't have good track record though. But yeah that did it for me. Can't lose money going through bank boxes really. Found a few Indian heads in my penny boxes. Its just a great hobby.
1 more question before bed if you all don't mind. I have a 1982 that looks like a gold color. Its so bright that when I put my led light on it and try to look through loop it literally blinds me. Did someone possibly gold plate it or what's going on? I figured that's what it was so no value but still have to ask.
Your pics make it look like an 32'. I would guess that the plating bubbles are creating a great bit of reflection.
Yeah I was thinking same thing about 32 then I flipped it over and saw the reverse. A real 32 with the future on the back and I might be able to retire. That would be nice. Yeah I was wondering if it was something like that instead of gold plated. Well, I'm off to bed. Long day tomorrow. It was great meeting you all and thanks for the help. I'm sure we will meet again. Have a great night.
