The only thing I see that is uncharateristic, is on the reverse the right wheat head is missing the end of the left line.
Does this coin look altered in any way??? No. They fake these Ds, now, but that looks like the right diagnostics, at least per the center part of it. Nice coin. It's spotty-toned on the reverse.
To me it looks cleaned/whizzed. Either that or it is counterfeit. I would need to examine it in hand to be sure.
The quality of the imagery doesn't leave me 100% certain either way. Unfortunately, genuinely superior pics are required for any comfort with surface evaluation in cases like this. I'm cautiously optimistic, although the reverse gives me pause.
As others have said, it's often difficult to spot subtleties from photos. But, assuming you're looking to purchase this, consider these questions: 1. Is the dealer reputable? 2. Is the price too good to be true? If you answered "no" or "I don't know" to #1 and "yes" to #2 then use extreme caution.
