That's one way to the job, with what looks like a wedge. - Can any one describe what this looks like happened here. Also, has anyone else found this style of error ? If not, it's a starting point. . .
On my two, there is a wedge jammed into the log on Lincoln’s right (our left). You may want to check your reverse again to see if he simply moved it from the top of the log to the end!
If your asking for a different view, let me know. The coin is right next to me, as is the camera. Not a problem. Any full size photo's need to be taken with a phone camera and are produced not to my liking. I can tell you that the coin itself has issues with carbon spots only. Sections of photo's may be a better way for any view your looking for.
Just thinking of the other wedge on his right you mentioned, and not needing another one, maybe he's making a withdraw from his savings, and recording the balance ?
First (no.1) coin's photo shows a foreign chip. Second photo, different (no.2) coin, shows the chip exiting. (?) Second (no.2) coin's photo of a over sized finger. Stippled ?
One I see a well place die chip. Two I see "stainage"/ try some Acetone it will be removed. Three I see "nothing" Four I see that I'm out the door
