Don't you just hate waiting? I do. Some things I can be patient, but the mail is not one of them.

Nice catch. I don't have that type, but I do have a provincial AE28 that is quite nice

Ro's sestertius seems to be a very scarce type?
In fact, a brief review of acsearch shows no auction listings for this type for Macrinus.

    Nice catch!

Here are my two examples for Macrinus:

    MACRINUS. 217-218 AD. Æ As (24mm, 10.96 gm). Struck 217-218 AD.
Obv: Laureate and cuirassed bust right
Rev: Macrinus standing left in quadriga, holding branch and sceptre, and being crowned by Victory standing left behind. RIC IV 162; Clay Issue 2; BMCRE 134; Cohen 107. VF, green patina, some light roughness, minor smoothing in fields.

Ex CNG. From the Rudolf Berk Collection.
