err ummm well..... odd 1887 morgan i bought

Again a "common date morgan" or is it???
Here's the story.. coin lists 150 was at 50 with 30m to go when I spotted something "odd" about it.. After 25m at Vamworld going over sellers and ngcs pics, I decided I needed to bid on it.. Well I managed to win it for under $100 so can't really go wrong, but here is what I found and I'd like to hear what you guys think...

1st thing I spotted was in the sellers enlarged pic was a "tail" off the foot of the 7.. looking though vamworld and based on these pics I was thinking seriously that it was an 87/6 which would be cool but here is were it get's more interesting.. the eye is clearly doubled making it a vam 12/12a alligator eye or a vam 2/3 87/6.. I can't be sure until it's in hand one way or the other but here's an even wilder thought... new vam.. alligator eyed 87/6... wouldn't that be cool lol.....

(side note... didn't need an 87p for my set but it is much nicer then the MS61 I have now so even if my thoughts are all wet, i still win lol)

The "tail" on the 7 in the first picture is a piece of lint on the holder. The "alligator eye" you see is likely just reflections from the lighting.
