This type has been on my want list since I first saw it. I'd originally wanted a nice Seleukos/Elephant quadriga drachm but the dealer forgot to list it as sold so I settled on this instead (I really wish I got that drachm :(). It's a nice little coin just too bad the reverse is off centre but I love it anyway.
I got a new camera and I've been playing with it the past couple weeks and I think this is one of my better coin pictures. I think I still need to work on the lighting but I dunno, what do you guys think?? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Wow, that's a pretty cool OP-RR example ...
... wow, imagine if they tried to circulate a coin like that nowadays, eh? (luckily, times sure have changed over the past 2,000 years)

Ummm, or perhaps the soldiers were rescuing the women?

Cool coin-- a popular and desirable type!

As for the images, the lighting is odd. It looks like it is from an extreme angle at 3:00. I'd like to see it lit more from above :)

Thanks TIF, I'll get a pic with light from above

By "above" I mean more axial, not from 12:00. It can be tricky with a shiny coin. Axial lighting often means whited-out reflections. Sometimes you can tilt the coin a little bit to fix those problems.

I love this reverse type, with the soldiers manfully carrying those Sabine ladies to Rome so they didn't have to walk all the way there .

On the pic... some areas of the field look almost totally black to me. I think you need more light on the surfaces, but actually, just do whatever TIF said.

@zumbly I love the obverse on yours!
Here's a couple more pics Hopefully they're better. I've been trying all sorts of light angles maybe it's the camera settings I'm not getting..

Try using two light sources one at 2 oclock and 10 oclock. That will provide more even lighting.

Nice coin, but I have to agree with Big sister @TIF. Lighting is wrong.

yeah, that's an interesting reverse...would love to have on as well...nice ajax.

    i'd offer these tips...

    1. As other have said, it's a bit dark on your original pic.

    2. Don't listen to chrsmat71 when it comes to photography advice, you've seen his work.
