1943 over 2 - or pareidolia?....

    1943 over 2 Jeff Nickel.jpg Above is my 1943-P Jefferson nickel. It might be graded VG, but I do see this hook or barb coming off the base of the three. Or is it my pareidolia?

    I do have one request: can we see pictures of the whole coin? I'm just curious as to its looks and grade. ;)

    VG8. And I would like to add a novel concept: an example of “anti-pareidolia”.
    You have a coin you thought might have been pareidolia and it turns out to actually have something real…congrats on a great find…Spark

    That should grade VG-8, VG-6 at the lowest. Again, congrats on the find.
