Metal Detecting - ALUMINUM Pull Tag & 3 Silver US Coins!

Hello everyone,
Today I did a 6 hour dirt fishing outing at Pelham Bay Park in The Bronx NYC.

I went with a new friend also named Carlos and known as Dogstar Blazer on Tiktok.
I met another detectorist named David from his Instagram Channel called Digging Up NY.
Both great guys!

Here are my finds

3 Silver Coins. My 4th Seated Dime ever!


7 Wheat Cents


Old Button with broken shank


1 Cent Canada - 2 each

And this old Pull Tab marked ALUMINUM
The first time I've seen the word marked on the beaver tail

The other 2 guys also found about 6 or 7 Mercury Dimes in total and Dogstar found a Braided Hair Copper Large Cent

I hate aluminum because it sounds like Silver, am I right?

 

Nice finds and 3 silvers, one of them a Seated Dime. That aluminum pull tab it the nicest one of all. You just can’t find antiques like that. Congratulations!

The finds go to show the ages of the park through the years. Right up to modern aluminum cans. Neat finds!
