I went to the laundromat a couple times in the last month or so and struck out, but this last haul produced this 64 quarter. It looks better in hand than this picture shows. It's got some nice toning. I'm going back later today. Hopefully my luck will continue.
Another member here found a 1941 in the Laundromat also, May 7th https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1941-quarter.417472/#post-26184374
These are all of the quarters I've found in the last year and a half or so...all from the laundromat.
Yes, the laundromats have a machine that you put in paper money and the machine dispenses quarters. The washers and dryers only take quarters.
Haven't been to a Laundromat in years (over 35 years to be more exact). They still take change, huh? I wonder how much it cost today to a load (wash/dry)?
How many quarters do you have to go through? Do the laundromats ever give you a hard time or are you ever asked to replace the quarters that you take? I used to go through rolls of coins from banks but many banks are reluctant to give out a lot of rolls where I live even if you become a member of the bank.
