Picked this up for $72 shipped. Looks like at least VG with a shot at F-12?? What say you? 29E110B9-17BD-4C7B-B43D-565876255922.jpeg E35CD99E-A77C-4FB8-96E6-E3D8811D39AC.jpeg

Depending on the TPG it could very well be F-12. Looking at grading standards in my opinion I agree.

With the date fading into the device I don't think it will any higher than GO8

That would be VG-07, and that would be my grade. Given the key date situation, and grade-flation, I guess they’d call it a Fine, but I would not be a buyer.

If it were not a 1921-D, you might be dealing with “cleaned.” There is an 1834 dime discussed earlier that is not much different.

I was thinking vg when I bought it. It will either be flipped or possibly replace my AG3 coin currently in my Walker set. It does look better than some of the graded VG coins however. For $72 I can't get hurt too badly.

Lots of 1921's don't even have a full date. Coin looks better than a lot of graded VG coins I have seen.

Probably a VG-10 but grading fees aren’t worth it. I’d replace the AG-3 in my set if I were you.
