I picked these sets up at my local coin shop. The CoA states they are in BU condition and layered in 24k gold. Would anybody know the percentage of gold in these sets?

Are you talkin' State Quarters sets? If so, there is very little gold involved.

They're gold plated, the percentage is basically minuscule

Some of them actually have some toning on them. Maybe in the future they will have some beautiful tones that come out. Fingers crossed lol!
I posted a lincoln cent that i found yesterday that has some nice toning on it if anybody wants to take a look. :)

The Virginia state quarters are definitely personal to me, i grew up in Va and been to Jamestown many times for field trips as a kid and a few times when i got older. Its fun to see the history. There is a place in Va. Beach called First Landing State Park which supposedly they took a pit stop there before moving on up the Chesapeake bay and landing in Jamestown.

I will probably just go to my local shop and pick up some more sets. They are usually under 3 bucks there. Im actually looking to buy a bag of wheat pennies from the bay. All im finding right now is rolls for around 10 or 11 bucks. Thats kinda steep for me. Some sellers are putting indian heads and or merc dimes in there rolls so thats kinda interesting. I mite pick some up when i have some money :(

Almost if not all of those are premade rolls with common coins in the middle trying to bait big bids from people thinking they could land a great coin
