I use a wide variety of storage methods. Dansco and Whitman Classic albums are my favorites for date/mintmark series collecting. I also use staple-type 2x2 cardboard/Mylar holder, but instead of staples, I close the edges with tape. I have begun storing my more brilliant single coins in Kointains, which I then put in a self-sealing 2x2. I get most of those from Amos Advantage. I store those in 20 pocket coin pages, and display them in a three ring binder. Most coin hobby supplies aren't terribly expensive. As with anything else, you get what you pay for.
I buy mine at the local shop but if that's not convenient they sell them on ebay. Usually in boxes of 100 I believe.
This link should help. http://coins.listings.ebay.com/Supplies_Holders_W0QQfromZR4QQsacatZ39476QQsocmdZListingItemList I'm seeing mylar/cardboard for $6.45 per hundred.
i agree with jody526. i also use the kointains in conjunction with the 2x2's i think they are better protected this way. grizz
Same here All my 2x2's go into 3-ring binder pages so my entire collection is easily viewable by friends or family. The good stuff in the air-tites and really good stuff in PCGS slabs stays is various boxes designed for them in the safe. I get my supplies here. http://www.air-tites.com/
