Connecticut with preserved, straight edge, PMD?

All my rookie research indicates this is PMD, but just need you wizards to confirm.

Anyone ever seen one like this? If it was a little more sloppy, I’d have dismissed it outright myself, but dang, if this is PMD, 1) It was intentional 2) they took their time 3) they had some strong machinery

But maybe that happens more often than one would think.

Looks my state was messed up again.
I don't see a "Blakesly effect" on either side with such a big cut, I don't see it possible to be an error. Calling it PMD.

 

A Straight Edge Incomplete (Clipped) Planchet would not have an upraised rim.

That's all post mint damage unfortunately.

 

My favorite state quarter. As said above though. It's a spender.

 

Sorry but that is 100% damaged after it left the mint 26 years ago.
