2014 Hall of Fame Dollar Coin Pocket Piece

An uncirculated example. Purchased under a re-offering by the mint in late 2014. Lesser coin, and I can see why it was returned, but some folks is most anal in nature.......if they don't feel it grades '70' they return it. My goal is to be able to properly photograph this danged thing, as the concave/convex nature of the coin is most befuddling to image.

You forget.......I can be forgetful. I'll try to give timely updates, though.

 

They really are an absolute beast to try and get a good picture of

 

I figure a well worn, modestly circulated ,coin may be captured/imaged a bit easier with a bit of 'wear.

 

Good luck trying to get wear on the palm of the glove

Prediction: You end up with no seams and the reverse obliterated while the glove remains pristine

 

MCM has them for $24.95. I may have to snag one and see what I can do.

 

Same price on ebay too if you have any bucks left

 

A few months into the mix (pocket change) and..........

 

I like it better now. It has that worn in leather look to the glove. TC
