Okay, most coins. But I think a different color would distract. However, it's your album. Do what you want. Who cares what I think?

Well. I agree that all black would look better across the board. I just don't know if some of the coins will look really bad in black rings. I'd rather get some opinions than waste my money.

Personally I'd like them all in black but I don't want the coins to be hard to look at. Given the choice I would rather be able to view the coins nicely and I don't know if it will matter.

Sounds like you know what you want, I say go for it. Changing out the inner rings is probably the easiest/least expensive part.

OK...here is another question and it might seem a little dumb.

Can the pages be removed from the Caps Albums? The album itself looks like a 3-ring binder of some kind. If I order an custom album for some of my foreign coins and need to add additional pages (provided there is room) can pages be added (do the rings "open" or "unlock")?

Also, I see they have a 25mm and a 40mm binder. I assume that's the thickness of the binder. How many pages will each size hold? I can't find that information on the website.

the pages can be taken out. I think all the pages are of standard size no matter what size coin fits into the holder. I see no problem mixing and matching different pages into one 3-ring binder. I have the same idea for my set/album.

So, I posted the same question on their support forum and got this response:

So, I just ordered a 40mm album and 4 pages. I'm gonna give it a try.

now I remember reading that on their website and that's the thing that I thought okay no more than 4 pages per album.

I've been switching all my coins into their albums over the last year. I probably have 20 or so caps albums. You don't have to buy the capsules from the, air-tites fit perfectly. The two thing's I havent been happy with is, on all modern coins, they do not have spaces for the 2005-2010 SMS coins, so you have to collect only circulation or SMS coins for those years, unless you have custom pages made. That is where my next issue with them is, I did have alot of custom pages made, but they came back with a different font type that does not match the original font, and I do not like how they look in the album when flipping from original page to custom page.
But overall I love the albums, and highly recommend them. They look great, and the coins look great in them. Only thing I add is Littleton Corrision Protection pages. I add 2 per album and throw in a couple of desicccant pack's in each slipcase. Probably overkill, but you never know!!

Good to know. I'm starting with my German Psuedo-type set which is always growing and changing. So, I ordered the pages unlabeled. I'm not planning on doing full date/MM sets but I also don't want to limit myself too much. If I like them, I will probably move more of my collection over in the future.
