is there such a variety of DD in the year 2011 Lincoln cent?

    I really can't tell from the pictures. Most of the recent doubled dies have extra thickness on some of the letters in one direction typical of Class VI doubling. I don't see that in the pictures above. I agree that the link above is the place to start with your coin.

    Not saying it is a doubled die, the pictures just aren't clear enough for me, but it does look promising. You "might" have something there.

    I think I see it on BERT, but, since those pictures are so magnified, I'm not sure it would count as a doubled die.
