1787 NJ copper variety help

    I bought this Maris-43 Bulbous head variety, but apparently the 43 has 43-a,d,y Etc... You get the point. SO how cant i break it down to the correct sub variety? All google does is show images but I cant tell them apart. I want to say mine is the Y variety.

    The options are 43-d and 43-Y, this one is a 43-d which is a rarity 1 variety.
