    Do recall that the dies sent out to the branch mints had not been hardened. That is an exceptionally difficult process when all you can go on is the color of the heated steel.

    well I belong to 5 of which 2 are all but dead, NGC and Numi$ (ok neither dead but slow responces and few postings, low memberships) the other 3 are of course Here at CT, as well as the PCGS forums and CoinHelpU...
    Though I spend most of my time either here or at Numi$
