    I reckon it's time for another contest. With the inception of Google it's made hosting one of these all the more difficult. What will the prize be... Don't know yet, but the question is as follows:

    In the book Hurrah for Texas, The Diary of Adolphus Sterne 1838-1851 there was a judge who was attacked and cut with a Bowie (type) Knife. This may or may not have been a unique occurrence as it was during the period and in Texas, a separate country at the time. What was this judges first and last name?

    The first individual who can correctly answer this question wins the prize.
