Who could this emperor be

    Also from a multiple lot, a very worn counter-marked AE coin.
    The former owner probably was a collector of countermarks.It was previously sold by Artemis Antiquities, St. Petersburg, Fl., USA.

    I would like very much to identify and attribute the coin, which as you can see, may be impossible.

    My guess, it is Antoninus Pius / Zeus but it is just a guess.

    My guess would be Pius or Hadrian, but that's a tough one.

    Were the joint Pius and Marcus Aurelius coins minted in the provinces?
