Ok, check this out. My girlfriend found this in a box of halves last night. It's a copper Kennedy that someone split in half and put a 25 cent sticker on. Weirdest thing ever.

The real score of the day came from two tellers at my CU. The first handed me $2.50 in silver quarters and the other had three loose halves in his drawer, one of which was a 68-P. Always a happy day when I can turn running my Saturday errands into $3.10 of silver coins at face value.

I've always wanted to find a silver quarter... everyone's making me jealous with all these beautiful pictures!!!

 

My dad went through his change jar last weekend and pulled 5 wheaties and... a silver Canadian quarter. 1958.

 

Gah. Been waiting for a break so I could look through a box of nickels... all 2016s.

The Wells Fargo Managers keep telling me the coin machines are going away soon. They are still there and I am getting as much in as I can. Will Probably do 5 more boxes this week. Hopefully better than these two.

Nice! Very lucky!!

I've only searched a few boxes of Dimes, as the payoff is usually slim to none. Found most of my silver dimes in CWRs.

 

I've only searched like three dime boxes before and I've found two silvers. I guess I am lucky!

 

A total of $4.50 in loose halves from 2 banks yielded nothing collectible. Oh well, there's always tomorrow
