I see a small die chip on the wheat stalk and a Lamination crack the surface due to improper alloy mixture which makes it a slight woody. Common issues on copper Wheat Cents.
“Die chip” is the term used before, now “Interior Die Break” (IDB) is being pushed as the proper and preferred terminology. I agree with Sal and Mr. Ed, looks like a small (raised) die chip ( I’m old school ) on the left side wheat lines…and the small lamination too. The “woody” striations are fairly pronounced, that’s a plus. The only negatives I see are the wear level and corrosion on the obverse. If I had to place a grade on it it would be approximately F35-XF40.
That seems to have been a common stress point, opposite the large metal movement of the beginning of Lincoln's coat. I've seen several small die chips in that area. More on the left stalk than the right one! Go figure.
It has a small die break (chip) on the wheat stalk and a crack from a lamination issue. Nice but both are common.
