1943 Steel Cent

    Hey I am new at grading - I think this coin is a EF-40...what do you guys think?

    Hard to tell from the photos, but I'd hazard a vf-35.......

    About right.
    The key is that the zinc plating hasn't been breached.

    Looks closer to VF30-35 to me.

    I have a complete roll in the original wrap, or they said it was. Would it be worth opening.

    Open it, I seriously doubt it's an OBW roll. There are more "manufactured by the seller" rolls than real ones. Where did you get it?

    Nowhere that fine. Maybe a VG to F for me. ( Not hating, But !!! )
