Recent Pickups I Couldn’t Resist

I couldn’t resist these. They were both just lying there and I heard them crying out to me so now I own them.

First up is a 1993-S PCGS graded PR69 Deep Cameo Silver Kennedy Half Dollar. The blackness on the obverse and the spot on the reverse at 6 o’clock are reflections from my cell camera. The coin is so shiny it wax the only way I could get decent photos. And it’s silver.

Here’s it’s almost twin, a 1993-S PCGS Proof 69 Deep Cameo in clad. Just as reflective.

 

There is something about a dripping wet proof. I don't care if it is one year or fifty years old. They are just plain sexy.

 

Somehow these missed a 70 but I don’t care, they are both beautiful coins.

 

yeah I know that feeling when I saw my 2014 there was no question about "want" it was a case of I had to have it

 

Why don't you crack it out, send it to PCGS to see if it crosses, just for giggles?
