Hey all, I recently purchased this lot of nice Morgan dollars for 35 bucks a pop. They had a bunch more but the others weren't as colorful and nice looking (others were VF-XFish). Figured I couldn't lose on that price but wanted your guy's opinion on if you think these are all NT or AT and if NT, do you see them worth getting graded to sell. It's hard to capture but they all have nice cartwheeling and no obvious signs of being cleaned. The first one has the craziest colors but im on the fence as far as if it's AT or not. The last one looks like it had a piece of tape covering it at one point and looks like a little gunk could be left. The others I am pretty confident are NT but always love your guys' opinion.
It might be the photos but they all look "off" ...I would call them either cleaned, environmental damage, or altered surfaces. Something was done to the coins and that might have helped them later acquire toning (like a cleaning that stripped the original surfaces and allowed them to tone afterwards in whatever environment they were left in). I don't think it would be worth grading as I don't think the results would be good enough to justify the costs.
