The ever popular St. Andrew design. This is a new one I've added to my Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg-Hannover collection. 1789 NGC MS-62.
I think my new macro setup is working ok.

Nice color! Very sharply struck imo. He doesn't have a weak smashed face. I don't have a St. Andrew type yet. The photo looks pretty good too.

 

Lets see that reverse.

I'll post the reverse in the morning. The photo I posted is for an article I'm working on.

 

Beautiful coin, for sure. As for the picture - try moving your lights a little bit. The bottom crescent of the coin is really dark and hard to see. Most of the coin is well lit and crisply photographed.

It is an improvement, for sure!

Keep playing around with your lights, it isn't 100% perfect yet but that second picture is definitely better.
