1952 Error cent

I don't think I've ever seen an error quite like this one. I'm looking forward to everyone's opinion. Thanks in advance.

A little extra pieces of metal on that one. I see no signs of damage that would cause that. Nice find. Congratulations

 

Crack, crack, cud

 

I agree with a crack, or two, but no cud for me. A fine coin.

 

Twin Die Cracks.

 

To me it shows two die cracks tied together by a raised area in the forehead. If the cracks go over the rim, might be minor then I would call it a retained cud.

Yes I found it Pickin and Grinin. Thanks It looks like mine is a later stage version.

 

Nice I am glad you found a match. 52' Lincolns are full of different die breaks, lots of BIE's they are fun to search. Yours definitely shows stronger die cracks than the example on Cuds on Coins.
