    There was a bit of suspense getting this denarius of Vitellius as I ordered it from a French dealer RIGHT before recent events in American politics, but ultimately there was a happy ending as I just received it in the mail today hassle-free and I couldn't be more delighted with this new addition to my collection! It takes pride of place amongst my 12 Caesars set.

    Fantastic coin! One aspect of looking at coins from collectors is seeing these examples not only of coins that spectacularly rare but in spectacular condition like this one. Absolutely incredible.

    Here's something a little different from the usual Greco-Roman stuff! Thought I'd look east towards Tang-Dynasty China for my new acquisition:
