Wanting to get started with Piracy Coins

I mostly focus on US coins, but there are two tell-tale signs that seem to frequent the crooked methods these lowlifes use to try to fool us..... Many of these bogus pieces are cast rather than struck. Look for an uneven porous surface and a casting seam around the rim. Particularly with bogus Cobs. There are a lot of cast cobs out there and they are easy to spot if you look for the casting seam.
