1968 No S Dime

I found this today in my pocket change. It's not in the best shape. Should I be excited?!

No. It’s from the Philadelphia Mint.

 

I'm curious why you would think that's a proof coin minted in SF instead of one of the 424,470,400 1968 dimes minted in Philadelphia. Short answer is no, don't be excited.

Everybody has a duh moment once in a while. At least you properly called it No S instead of that silly "no mint mark" stuff.
