Nice one John, congrats. Etruria As are hard to find.

Thanks! I have only ever seen one of these in gold. Artemide had this, and a AV 10 Asses in same auction. I ended up getting both coins. The auction fotos do no justice to the coins. Both look pristine close up. This showed up in their video display. Amazingly it (As) is smaller then Regensburg AV 1/32 Dukat 1700 or Marathan Confederacy AV 1/4 Fanam.! I wonder if they will ever find out who struck these in Etruria.

So it seems they struck these in silver and gold! I have 2 AV 10 Asses from uncertain mint. 4ea4efa52d44c986975eb567c6a1da08 (7).jpg 03eae0fdb88956c1640ce476b984f0b7 (9).jpg
