I'm thinking that United posted that they would be back up at noon. I'm happy I don't have to fly till Sunday.
Thanks, John! Are you going to be there tomorrow. If so, will you be at the NGC Luncheon? It would be nice to see you again. Chris
Well, this was just a 'shout out' to all fellows attending.......making sure that all was right with you......seems that it is. No ill reports.
All is well at the show. The organizers were very good about informing everyone in the hall throughout the ordeal and throughout the day about events as things unfolded. It definitely cast an odd mood over the bourse, all the stages of disbelief, confusion, anger... Local traffic was impacted and may have kept some people from even getting to the show due to proximity to the airport scene. There's a lot of visible police presence all over town tonight still blocking roads and watching out. Local police were out in front of the convention center with long guns out and on display and informing people leaving the show about how to access the airport due to the terminal closures if they hoped to fly (obviously no one was flying tonight). Those flying out tomorrow may still have issues according to the media but some carriers are yet to announce delays for later flights tomorrow yet have travel alerts on their respective websites. Damned shame this stuff keeps happening. Peace and prayers to all.
