    Some interesting history. This Thaler was minted using silver contributed by the silver service of Bishop Franz, Freiherr von Buseck: 1779-1801. IMG_9844-horz.jpg .

    A beautiful coin! I used to own one in lower grade many years ago.

    Great taler! I have not yet been able to add one of those to my collection, but I do have a couple of Bamberg medals from 1795 to compliment your taler:
