    I have a 2002 Austrian 2Euro error coin.
It's in an NGC slab so it's a legit error.
    The slab is labeled:

    2002 AUSTRIAN 2E
    OLD MAP
    MINT ERROR MS 65
    DOUBLE CURVED CLIP

I got it in Austria in when the banks were selling the packs of the new Euro coins.
2002 was the first year of issue for the Austrian Euro coins.
I bought several packs (don't remember the cost).
When I later opened a pack the above described coin was included.
I have no idea how much to value.

I'm going to the Whitman show in Baltimore Thursday and I'd like to sell it if it has enough value.
Don't know what that would be nor do I know of any catalog that would give me a ballpark figure.

I looking for a reasonable estimate.

Perhaps look up mint errors in the Euro series of coins. This one is an earlier Euro coin, so also take a look at early errors. Is a double curved clip a "major error?" Take a look at sold auction pricing for Euro coins with this, or similar, errors.

I also wonder if there is a Euro forum site that has an "errors" section?

If you come across a dealer or two that you know at the show, perhaps run it past them? I've purchased coins from dealers at shows and then took out a coin I brought with me to the show to see what the dealers think of it. A purchase usually lowers barriers...

It's actually a double Incomplete Planchet. Neat mint error but not a major one. I've seen similar attributed examples go for $80.00 - $100.00

Can you provide the NGC Certification number to see it on their website?

And I'll check with some dealers of non-US coins.
The show is big enough that I should get a reasonable opinion.
$80 to $100 would be quite reasonable to me.

One separation of the Cu center and the CuNi outer ring (my guess at the metals) is just visible above the "2" on the obverse.
The other separation is to the left and slightly down from the word "EURO" and isn't visible on this image.

Neither separation can be seen on the reverse.

Checked with several dealers at the Whitman show.
    None were interested.
One comment was that the clips were too minor.
