Here is an East German Berlin mint error that I have been sitting on since my grade school days. It is a 5 pfennig 1950-A KM-2 that was struck on a defective planchet. The defect is a missing piece of metal off the planchet. The piece was missing before the coin was struck which would make this piece unique. We know this is rare but is it valuable?
Not sure of value on German coins but it appears to be a lamination error. On US coins it’s nice to have one but they are not valuable. Worth a little extra.
